INSTRUCTOR: MIKI TAKAKI, piano

Born in Nagoya, Japan and began piano at age of four and learned music composition between 1989 and 1995 at YAMAHA educational system. Between 2002 and 2009, she studied at the Tokyo University of Arts with Susumu Aoyagi, and graduated in 2009, obtaining the Master’s Degree.

2nd Prize of the All Japan Student Music Competition. Winner of the Kasugai Piano Music Competition. Performed with Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra organized by Japan Federation of Musicians. Finalist of Kazusa Akademia Music Competition.

Giving Recitals in Tokyo, Nagoya and Fukuoka and concerts in Poland, Vienna and all over Japan. As an accompanist, she is equally appreciated as an adept chamber musician, and has collaborated with renowned artists, such as Michael Collins, Anna Hashimoto, Masayuki Kino and more. She has also appeared on the BS-NHK, NHK-FM national television and radio in Japan.

Invited to Spring Festival in Tokyo 2023, Nagano International Festival 2021, Kurobe International Violin Seminar 2023 as a collaborated pianist and Ojika international music festival in Nagasaki Japan as an accompanist and teacher from 2013.

She was part-time teacher of Piano department from 2015-2020 and assistant accompanist of Strings department from 2018-2022. Educational Assistant of Piano at Tokyo University of the Arts(GEIDAI)
