MICHIKO KAMIYA, violin

After completing the Soloist Diploma Course at the Faculty of Music, Toho Gakuen University, Michiko Kamiya studied under Dorothy DeLay at the Juilliard School.

She won the second prize in the Paganini International Competition in 1992. She won the Hannover International Competition in 1997. She has performed with well-known domestic and international orchestras such as NHK Symphony Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, and Norddeutscher Rundfunk. She has often performed with well-known musicians such as C. Dutoit, C. Munhun, R. Barshai, and Koichiro Harada. She also participates in music festivals around the world such as Aspen, Verviers and Kuhmo. She is also enthusiastic about her commitment to chamber music.

She has studied under Koichiro Harada, Masao Kawasaki, Dorothy DeLay, Georges Pauk, Mazumi Tanamura, Akira Miyoshi, Tokyo String Quartet and others. She has lived in Paris since 2006, and while she continues to perform internationally, she also teaches at the Paris Ecole Normale Conservatory, expanding her range as a leader. LEE KANGHO, cello

Since debuting with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 12, he has had a wide-ranging career as a soloist and chamber musician. His performances with the KBS Symphony Orchestra, the Korean Symphony Orchestra, and the Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra, along with his recitals at the Kumho Recital Hall, have been highly acclaimed by critics and broadcast nationwide by KBS Radio. He served as a soloist at the 2001 New Year’s Eve Gala Concert with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and continues to perform regularly with major orchestras in Korea.At the invitation of the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he gave recitals at the United Nations in Paris, Lyon, Milan, Rome, and Geneva. He has also performed in Moscow and Saint Petersburg at the invitation of the Moscow Conservatory and has collaborated with the Sofia National Academy Orchestra and the Halle Philharmonic. His international recital appearances include New York, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, and Boston. As a chamber musician, he has performed at the Kirishima International Music Festival, Vivace Music Festival, Seoul Spring Music Festival, Gangneung Music Festival, and Changwon International Music Festival. He is also a member of the Tonus Piano Trio and the Antonin Ensemble, both of which received the Byuksan Award.He has served as a jury member for the Isang Yun International Cello Competition, the Penderecki International Cello Competition, and the Popper International Cello Competition. He is currently the Dean of the Music Department and Professor of Cello at the Korea National University of Arts.

MIKU TAKAKI, piano

Born in Nagoya, Japan and began piano at age of four and learned music composition between 1989 and 1995 at YAMAHA educational system. Between 2002 and 2009, she studied at the Tokyo University of Arts with Susumu Aoyagi, and graduated in 2009, obtaining the Master’s Degree.

2nd Prize of the All Japan Student Music Competition. Winner of the Kasugai Piano Music Competition. Performed with Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra organized by Japan Federation of Musicians. Finalist of Kazusa Akademia Music Competition.

Giving Recitals in Tokyo, Nagoya and Fukuoka and concerts in Poland, Vienna and all over Japan. As an accompanist, she is equally appreciated as an adept chamber musician, and has collaborated with renowned artists, such as Michael Collins, Anna Hashimoto, Masayuki Kino and more. She has also appeared on the BS-NHK, NHK-FM national television and radio in Japan.

Invited to Spring Festival in Tokyo 2023, Nagano International Festival 2021, Kurobe International Violin Seminar 2023 as a collaborated pianist and Ojika international music festival in Nagasaki Japan as an accompanist and teacher from 2013.

YUKO FUJIMURA, piano

Born in Fukuoka, started piano lessons by 5. Winner of the All Japan Music Competition for Students, the Japan Music Competition, Recipient of numerous competitions such as Margueite Long Crespin. ARD Munich. Toured almost every country

throughout Europe and appeared in many orchestral concerts such as the NHK Symphony, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony

Orchestra and others with renown Maestros of Japan and abroad, Her recording of the Grand Sonata of Tchaikovsky and Mussorgsky ‘Pictures’ are highly acclaimed. Honorable professor of Sakuyo Music College.

Studied with legendary artists such as Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, Conrad Hansen and Vlado Perlmuter.

MASARU YOSHITAKE, piano

Born in Japan in 1986, Masaru YOSHITAKE started playing the piano at the age of 4, and made his orchestral debut with Dvorák chamber orchestra at the age of 12.

He was the recipient of many prizes including: the 3rd Prize at the All Japan student Music Competition (2002); the 1st Prize at Iizuka Music Competition (2009); the 1st Prize at Kazusa Akademia Music Competition (2009); the 2nd Prize at the Music Prize of Matsukata Hall (2009).

He was also the prize winner at the Artur Schnabel Music Competition in Germany (2011), finalist at the Minoru Nojima Yokosuka Piano Competition in Japan (2010), finalist at the Music competition of Japan(2012), Medalist at the Maria Canals International Music Competition(2014), Semifinalist at the Geneva International Music Competition(2014).

He has also worked with numerous orchestras including: Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra; Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra; Tokyo Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra; Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra; Kyusyu Symphony Orchestra and Chiba Symphony Orchestra…etc.

He graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts in 2009 after which he began studying at the Universität der Künste Berlin on a scholarship from the Rohm Music Foundation since fall, 2010. After graduating in 2014, he continued studying on the Soloist course “Konzertexamen”, and graduated in 2016.

He has worked with many renowned professors including: Prof. Jacques Rouvier; Prof. Kenji Watanabe; Prof. Minoru Nojima, Prof. Andrei Pisarev and Prof. Dina Yoffe.Now he is living in Tokyo, and teaching at Toho Gakuen School of Music and Tokyo University of the Arts as a lecturer.

SUSUMU AOYAGI, piano

Reknown Japanese pianist Susumu Aoyagi has started piano lessons at the age of five in Dallas Texas, and held his first solo recital in the same year.
His teacher was Jo Boatright, assistant of the legendary pianist Lili Kraus. Susumu had opportunities to play for the Maestra and received lessons from her until the age of fifteen.
At the age of nine he made his orchestral debut with the Fort Worth Symphony, and continued lessons in Japan after his family moved back to Japan.
After winning the Japan National Competition for Students, he studied in Toho Gakuen School of music and Hochschule der Kunste Berlin.
First Prizes in Jaen Piano Competition of Spain, Alfredo Casella Competition on Italy, Prizewinner of Marguerite Long = Jacques Thibauld Crespin Competition of France. Numerous orchestral appearances,Solo Recitals, Chamber music concerts in Japan and many other countries,His CD recordings are highly acclaimed.

Professor of Piano at Tokyo University of the Arts (GEIDAI), President of the jury, producer of the Takamatsu International Piano Competition, Music Director of the Nagasaki Ojika Music Festival, Board member of the Japan Chopin Society.Resides in Tokyo since 2000.
